Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and Sister Patricia Holland will be the featured speakers at Family Discovery Day on February 27, 2021.

The Family Discovery Day, for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is part of the completely virtual and entirely Free RootsTech Connect family history conference experience. Hosted by FamilySearch, the Family Discovery Day is designed to celebrate shared connections with people from around the world.

Elder and Sister Holland and their family will talk about how we can connect to our heritage, to our ancestors, to our immediate family and to God. Their address comes from Elder Holland’s hometown of St. George, Utah. The Hollands will share family memories and stories through a video that was recorded at various locations in the area.

“My family members and I have recently spent a considerable amount of time thinking about the sweet relationships we have with one another,” Elder Holland said in a recent social media post. “I could just tell you that my faith and my family are my most important possessions—and they are—but let me show you that instead.

“Please join me and my family virtually on February 27 at the RootsTech Family Discovery Day event hosted by FamilySearch as we take you with us to southern Utah and share some of the times and places that have touched our lives.

“In the meantime, I encourage each of you to continue to build memories with your own loved ones. Families are indeed an eternal blessing from our loving Heavenly Father.”
