On 19 August 2023, members and friends of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout the Africa West Area joined together to perform acts of service in their communities.
On June 21st and June 22nd, 2023, the 5th Annual Strengthening Families Conference was held in Abuja Nigeria. Over 4000 individuals attended in person at the Abuja International Conference Center, and tens of thousands participated on-line.
The meeting was held at the Christianborg Stake Center in Accra Ghana with over 1000 local youth attending. It was also broadcast throughout the Africa West Area to Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Senegal, Benin, Togo, the Gambia, and other parts of Ghana.
