During the general conference leadership session on Thursday, 45 new Area Seventies from 23 countries were announced and presented for a sustaining vote.
The conference consists of five sessions happening on Saturday and Sunday, April 2–3, 2022, including a session on Saturday evening for women and young women (including those who turn 12 in 2022).

President Nelson invited listeners to be mindful of three things during the conference sessions — pure truth, pure doctrine and pure revelation — and concluded by invoking “a blessing upon all who are seeking greater light, knowledge and truth.”
Saturday evening session will be discontinued; In-person attendance for October 2021 conference will not be available

During the Saturday afternoon session of the 191st Annual General Conference, President Dallin H. Oaks announced the call of 11 new Church leaders, including a new Primary general presidency.
